The first step was to clean it out, remove most of the chrome to prevent farther damage to it, remove several layers of paint and install a back window. I used 2 gallons of paint remover and wore out 2 (cheap) sanders. | |

I got tired of setting on a 5 gallon bucket when I needed to move the car bacause all that was left of the seats were springs and wires, so I towed it back to Tucson from Phoenix to "Tucson Upholstery" were Victor and his crew worked magic for a little over $1000. | |

I can not stress enough what a great job "Tucson Upholstery" did. No it is not fancy. At the time I couldn't afford fancy. All they had to start with was the bare spring seats and the rods for the headliner. |
